BEAR GRILLZ & FRIENDS
FRIDAY NOVEMBER 24TH 2017
Bear Grillz' meteoric rise into the Pantheon of bass music legends was predicated on a philosophy of love for the scene and the necessity of always grinding as hard as you can. This philosophy netted him multiple Beatport #1's including his massive collaborations with Datsik and Getter, "Fuck Off" and "EDM" respectively. His notoriety only increased, and 2016 saw him booked for 12 international festivals while touring as support for Excision on his Paradox Tour. 2017 promises to be an even better, more successful year for Bear Grillz. An 8 track EP, with talent straight from the rosters of Bass Music royalty, is set to drop later this year, and a full North American tour is slated for the spring. He's bringing his brand new custom stage design, "The Void", with him, and, to make it rage even harder, he's adding the sonic support of PK's famous sound system. The name Bear Grillz has always been synonymous with face-melting, neck-breaking bass music, and his shows are always one mosh pit away from a prison riot. Don't sleep on him--you'll be seeing a lot more of him at a show near you
With numerous consecutive Beatport number 1s, millions of Soundcloud & YouTube plays, collaborations & remixes for Excision, Virtual Riot, Megalodon, Northlane, In Hearts Wake plus many more under his belt, few can deny that PhaseOne is one of the most consistent and significant talents to emerge from the Australian Music scene in the last few years, with his distinct sound combining a unique blend of hard hitting Electronic Bass Music with a Hardcore/Metal fusion.
Dirt Monkey, aka Patrick Megeath, has carved his uplifting, bouncy, and unique sounds within the Denver, Colorado dubstep scene and has gained international acknowledgement with his punchy and playful sound design. His tracks have gained support and captivated audiences via many pioneers, such as: Skream, Benga, Rusko, Datsik, Excision, A-Trak, Virtual Riot, Anna Lunoe, Annie Nightingale (BBC Radio 1), Downlink, Ganga White Night, and Protohype. Dirt Monkey’s Remix of Rusko’s “Woo Boost” has recently hit the world by storm, was released on Subcarbon Records, and to top it all off, is supported by the don himself, Rusko. Although this eclectic music junky enjoys a wide-variety of music, he has gravitated towards the trippy, crisp sounds of IDM and the wonky, high-energy sounds of old school dubstep and strives to fuse the two together.
Kompany has emerged from the shadows of anonymity to present one of the more promising bass music projects in 2016. Having perfected his craft in the esteemed halls of Icon Collective, Kompany is now bringing his music to a global audience. Blending versatile sound design with aggressive forms of bass music, Kompany is a force to be reckoned with.
